After graduating from Oklahoma State School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983, I practiced conventional veterinary medicine for 10 years. Even while in school, I was interested in alternative medicine; during years of conventional practice, that interest became stronger as I became more and more disenchanted with the unsatisfactory results that pharmaceutical medicine yielded. Then, when I started looking for a more promising method of working with my children's health, I stumbled upon Homeopathy. That interest has become a consuming passion.
The motto of Samuel Hahnemann, father of Homeopathy, was "sapere aude", which means "dare to know", or "dare to be wise", or "have the courage to use your own reasoning". You can choose to be pro-active in your decisions about your health, or the health of those for whom you have responsibility.
